Educational & Professional Support Services
Speech Therapy
Does your child have difficulty using words, speaking clearly, or understanding what they are told? Our play-based therapy sessions will help them speak up and communicate with confidence! We work with children ages 3-5 at home or school, and we offer convenient online speech therapy for children ages 5-22.
Academic and Reading Tutoring
We will meet your child where they are at and guide them to reach their full academic potential. Our tutors and reading interventionists provide tailored support in math, reading, and writing to ensure that your child succeeds in school and beyond.
Job Coaching
Our job coaching services prepare young adults to enter the workforce with confidence. Once we get to know your child’s unique interests and strengths, we will help them create their career pathway, enter the workforce, and gain the communication and professional skills they need to thrive.

SpeakUp Learning was founded by Carroll Wilcox-Lockett, Felicia Taylor, and Camille Edwards— a team of experienced professionals who believe that every child can learn, communicate, and thrive in the real world.

It’s Easy to Get Started with SpeakUp Learning!
SpeakUp Learning provides virtual speech therapy, tutoring services, and job coaching to individuals of all ages and backgrounds in the state of Florida. Our in-person services take place in Fort Lauderdale, FL and surrounding areas.
Step One:
Contact us via phone or email! A quick screening will take place in your home, online, or at your child’s school to determine the next best step.
Step Two:
We will complete an evaluation to assess your child’s speech, language, academic, or career readiness skills. The results will help us create a personal learning plan.
Step Three:
Begin weekly speech therapy, tutoring, or job coaching sessions to help your child reach their goals! Progress will be monitored and reported each quarter.
Insurance & Billing
SpeakUp Learning currently accepts private pay clients and will soon accept the Family Empowerment Scholarship funds and Medicaid insurance plans. We are committed to making high-quality services accessible to everyone in our community. Reach out to learn more!
